Unit:  Emergency Adult Clinical

Schedule:  Days/Eves/Nights Rotate & EOW - 36hours/week. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate.

Unit Description:

• 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area.
• Skill: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4.
• Patient Population: All; Bed Count: 65; Census: 230 visits/day.
• EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP. 10.
• Floating Required: Yes

Requirements:

• 2 years of RN Emergency Room  experience.
• Active RN State License, BLS, ACLS, PALS  certification - required, NRP certification – preferred.
• Additional Information: TNCC strongly preferred.
