Job Details

Shift Schedule:

• Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: As scheduled ( major holidays )
• Flexible Hours: 36hr or 48hr/week accepted

Patient Ratio: 1:4 ( consistent across shifts )

• Daily Volume: ~130 patients (*47-bed ED*)

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License: Maryland (MD) or Compact License ( required at submission )
• Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI ( required )
  • NRP preferred for neonatal cases

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of ER experience (*2+ years preferred; first-time travelers accepted*)
• Required Skills:
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation/12-lead EKG
  • Pediatric emergencies (seizures, respiratory distress)
  • Trauma care (gunshot wounds, multi-system failure)
  • EPIC proficiency ( preferred )
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

  • Neonates to geriatrics ( combined adult/pediatric ED )
  • STEMI/Stroke Center capabilities
• Special Equipment:
  • Ultrasound, transvenous pacemakers, Hoyer lifts
