Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and create personalized care plans.
- Manage patient symptoms and coordinate outpatient services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Practice according to ANA and ONS standards of care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory oncology is required for candidates without a BSN.
- Current Massachusetts RN license is required.
- Outpatient chemo infusion experience is required .
- Oncology Nurse Certification ( OCN ) is required within two years of hire or after 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cancer Center team for a long-term assignment.
