RN, Cancer Center Infusion

Location: Northampton, MA

Department: Cancer Center Infusion

Job Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education and create personalized care plans.
  • Manage patient symptoms and coordinate outpatient services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Practice according to ANA and ONS standards of care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory oncology is required for candidates without a BSN.
  • Current Massachusetts RN license is required.
  • Outpatient chemo infusion experience is required .
  • Oncology Nurse Certification ( OCN ) is required within two years of hire or after 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cancer Center team for a long-term assignment. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care within the Hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive outpatient chemo infusion experience. Job I'D: MGB-23697
