Facility: Cone Health - Wesley Long Community Hospital
Location: 2400 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27403
Contract Type: Travel Assignment (16 Weeks)
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Specialty: MS/Tele ( primarily Med/Surg with telemetry capability )

Job Details

Shift Schedule:

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Rotating ( no holiday RTO accepted )
• Float/Call:
  • Floating to other Cone Health facilities required
  • Charge nurse shifts as needed

Patient Ratio: 1:6

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) ( required at submission )
• Certifications:
  • BLS ( required )
  • NIHSS ( preferred )

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience ( no first-time travelers )
• Required Skills:
  • Telemetry monitoring ( EKG exam during onboarding )
  • Blood product administration, PICC/IV management
  • Heparin/insulin protocols, PCA, wound vacs
  • EPIC proficiency ( non-negotiable )
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience

Unit & Facility Details

• Patient Population: Adults/geriatrics ( primarily Med/Surg )
• Common Conditions:
  • Post-surgical, GI/respiratory disorders, diabetes
