Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab - Cath Lab EP -
Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 2 rooms; 1 EP lab, 1 Cath lab
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Unit staffing description: 2 RNs 3 Techs
Type of equipment: Carto, Claris, Acist
Documentation system: Meditech and Merge Hemo
Procedures performed on unit: Pacamaker, EP study, SVT ablation, loop recorder, PCI, diagnostic cath, TEE, Cardioversion
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Scheduling requirements: 5 days a week 7-1530
On Call Requirements: minimum 12 shifts per month
Floating policy: may be floated within skill set in facility
Requested Skill Set: Cath lab experience. EP experience.
Able to circulate procedure room with minimal orientation.
Advanced skills needed: Experience in EP lab AND Cath
Dress Code: (Required uniform) Unit provided scrubs, mask, surgical cap.
