**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Weekend Shift **Description:** Nazareth, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to join our inpatient Pharmacy team! **Shift:** PRN- Every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with the ability to pick up additional shifts as needed, and 1-2 holidays/year. Per department needs. **:** Under the supervision of the Registered Pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager, and Director of Pharmacy, and according to the established procedures of the pharmacy department, the pharmacy technician assists the pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel in all aspects of inpatient hospital pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to the preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications, performing related duties to maintain workflow such as charging medications, filling Pyxis™ MedStations, crediting and redistributing returns and assisting in the maintenance of inventory levels within the department. In addition to the above, the technician assists the pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel in the preparation, dispensing and delivery of parental solutions for inpatients and outpatients. The Technician will maintain the workflow in the IV room with activities such as delivering the IVs to the nursing units, recycling of IV products, processing IV returns and batching IVs and syringes as backup stock for new orders. The purpose is delivery of quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the said designated area.
