Warehouse Manager

is responsible for managing venue distribution/warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. The Warehouse Manager provides event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational support to ensure smooth event execution or preparation. This role involves supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff, and managing employment actions such as hiring, firing, and promotions, while maintaining a positive work environment. This key position requires excellent attendance, availability for a variable schedule including evenings and weekends, professional presentation, strong interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills. The annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000. November 14, 2025 . About the Venue The arena features over 15,000 seats and hosts the UConn Women's and Men's Basketball teams, as well as the Hartford Wolf Pack hockey team. Led by renowned coaches and teams, it is a prominent sports and entertainment venue. Responsibilities

Manage product purchasing, receiving, and distribution control. Maintain procedures for tracking purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory. Oversee warehouse sanitation and organization. Assist with event operations as directed. Supervise warehouse staff to ensure completion of tasks and proper equipment handling. Ensure compliance with purchase order procedures and proper stock levels. Manage transfer processes and routine maintenance of equipment. Evaluate employee performance and maintain records. Conduct daily walkthroughs of storage areas. Oversee daily operations as opening or closing manager. Assist with sales and accounts receivable/payable as needed. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of warehouse/distribution and supervisory experience. Forklift certification. Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Proficiency in English and computer applications. Knowledge of concessions operations, sanitation, and safety standards. Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
