Responsibilities
The Sustainment Division supports GCC mission services to enhance operational support efficiency and effectiveness. It offers foundational services such as process improvement, cost control, mission planning, and organizational efficiencies, including tool development, asset management (HW/SW) for LCM, and property accountability and security for DODIN-A services (NIPRNet and SIPRNet).
The Web Hosting service develops custom web-based, data-driven applications in SharePoint and Java, following the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure proper planning, design, and documentation. It also provides Operations & Maintenance (O&M), user guides, training, bug tracking, web server maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications.
Web Site Support and Maintenance involves managing internal and enterprise web portals and collaborative platforms supporting internal operations, mission overviews, and collaboration. This includes managing access, security, auditing, and backups.
Web Site Development and Maintenance tasks include setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and upgrading web portals on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, supporting content and application management on SharePoint, migrating capabilities to SIPRNet, operating the CONUS Network Security Center portals, maintaining web servers, designing web graphics and pages, implementing security best practices, and managing web access controls.
Qualifications
2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
Certifications: DCWF Code 621 Advanced: TBD
Attention to detail and quality assurance skills
Experience with meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
Ability to work independently and in teams
Secret security clearance required
