Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Responsibilities
Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom. When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and the execution of past events. Act as the point person for all events in the store when Supervisor is absent. Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed. Assist Supervisor by providing leadership and knowledge to the team. Gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers positively. Assist/perform all responsibilities assigned to the demo program. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the products. Prepare and serve food samples, including raw meats, produce, and eggs, following food safety guidelines. Use small appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives to prepare and serve samples. Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals. Present a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements. Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution. Complete all assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per company policy. Submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution. Take digital photos of the Perfect Table Setup to document success stories for clients. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, but the company may adjust based on business or client needs. This job description does not limit the tasks to only those listed. Individuals are expected to follow other instructions and perform other tasks as directed by management. Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months’ related experience or training; or equivalent. Computer Skills:
Proficiency in using personal computers and mobile devices with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required. Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, visual reading, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing/pulling carts, preparing foods, contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Point of contact when Supervisor is absent. Working Conditions:
Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance:
Maintain a neat, clean, groomed appearance as per retailer dress code. Language Skills:
