Travel 60396 Experienced ER RN needed for a busy emergency department, providing care to patients of all ages in acute and trauma situations. Department is fully equipped and staffed 24/7 with physicians trained in Emergency Medicine and experienced ER staff certified in advanced adult and pediatric life support. The nurse will also float to Med-Surg as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care in an 8-room ER with trauma and observation bays
Triage, stabilize, and manage acute and critical patients of all age groups
Respond to trauma and emergency medical situations using advanced protocols
Float to Med-Surg when required
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
Document patient care using Evident CPS EMR system
Work weekends as required, no on-call duties
