$1,818 Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support) MS/Tele experience
Required Clinical Skills:
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response:
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Activation and use of Rapid Response Teams
IV Therapy & Phlebotomy:
Peripheral line care and management
Respiratory Care:
Use of nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
Professional Practices:
Adherence to isolation precautions
Patient Population:
Cardiovascular conditions
Wound care
Unit Details:
Staffing Ratios:
Days/Evenings: 1:5 (may stretch to 1:6 or 1:7) Nights: 1:6 or 1:7 (may stretch to 1:8 or 1:9) Support Staff:
Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) perform vitals, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and assist with activities of daily living
Dedicated in-house phlebotomy team handles all peripheral lab draws
Nurses are responsible for PICC and central line management
Special Equipment Used:
Hoyer lifts
Wound vacs
Experience Required:
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar MS/Tele setting
