Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. We are currently accepting applications for qualified Medium/Heavy Diesel and Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT) to support our customer’s fleet located in the Palm Springs, CA area.

Compensation:

Competitive Hourly Pay - PAID EVERY FRIDAY!

$40-$54.50/hr

depending on experience!

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM

Qualifications/Requirements:

EVT Certification required (Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification)

2+ years’ experience working on Fire trucks and/or ambulances

Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus

Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use

ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable

Trade School Certificates a plus

Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair

Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check.

Class B CDL, DOT Med Card

Working Conditions:

Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.

Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.

Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants

Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

Ability to move and position heavy objects

Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles

Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
