As an Information Technology Manager, Software, you will lead full-stack engineering squads to build and support highly available, resilient, and secure Reservation solutions. We are seeking an experienced candidate with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), modern UI/UX frameworks, and full-stack development using Angular, Node.js, and Java. The ideal candidate will also hold an AWS Solutions Architect and AEM certification and have a proven track record of leading high-performing development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital applications for the Contact Center Specialists. The IT Manager will balance their time between technical thought-leadership, hands-on solution collaboration, and talent development. This leader will also be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.

Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.

Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development and coding standards.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

10+ years of hands-on professional experience in information technology, preferrable managing development teams.

Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.

Proficiency with UI technologies and frameworks such as Nodejs, Angular, Adobe Experience Manager.

Experience in Customer Engagement and Communication using SalesForce.

Experience with AWS Cloud computing platform

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software projects.

Candidate must be solutions oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers

The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.

Self-learner with the ability to learn new technologies and provide tangible results

Highly adaptable, a driver of change, and capable of quickly rallying teams / peer groups

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred.

Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred

Preferred AWS Solutions Architect Certification

Preferred AEM Certification
