Job Title: QA Assurance Supervisor
We are seeking a
Quality Assurance Supervisor
to lead quality operations in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring that all products meet strict quality and food safety standards, while also supporting efficient and compliant production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support production activities to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, internal quality standards, and customer requirements.
Manage quality systems, documentation, and training programs required for maintaining third-party food safety certifications.
Ensure accurate and timely QA testing, including water treatment, syrup batching, and record-keeping.
Enforce sanitation and housekeeping standards across the facility.
Support operations with troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and product quality initiatives.
Lead internal audits and assist with external regulatory or customer audits.
Train, coach, and manage QA team members to ensure high performance and compliance.
Promote and enforce safe work practices across the department.
Align departmental goals with broader business objectives.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is required.
Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Background in microbiology and ISO-certified environments is a plus.
HACCP knowledge required; certification preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with water treatment systems and QA testing procedures.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate a team.
