Key ResponsibilitiesBuild custom tools and integrations that accelerate development and experimentation.Improve and extend our AI coding assistant to boost team productivity.Automate repetitive tasks and workflows across engineering and operations.Contribute to health dashboards, testing infrastructure, and data pipelines.Collaborate across disciplines to solve open-ended problems with code. Required QualificationsStrong programming fundamentals and a track record of building something impressive.Ability to get things done independently, without extensive guidance.Comfortable working across unfamiliar domains and technology stacks.Writes simple, readable, and maintainable code.Excited about using AI tools to move faster and smarter. Preferred QualificationsExperience with LLMs, developer tooling, or automation frameworks.Exposure to robotics, distributed systems, or sensor data.Background in software engineering, but with a flexible, cross-functional mindset.Interest in sustainability, construction, or experimental R&D environments.Location & TravelRemote work opportunity; or, work in-office at the Terran Robotics Lab in Bloomington, Indiana. If remote, expect to travel to and work up to five days per month at the Terran Robotics Lab in Bloomington, Indiana, 45 minutes from Indianapolis.
