Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2 years of experience, CNMT or NMTCB certification, and an active IN state license.Job Details•Work in a short-term acute care hospital in both adult Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology settings,•Duties include performing gastric emptying, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, 3 phase scans, whole body bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, and pharmacological/exercise stress procedures,•Start and maintain peripheral IVs and handle radioactive materials,•Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts with varying start times between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM,•Rotating call required for one week at a time, covering all after hours, including weekends,•Floating within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals is required,•Cerner EMR is used; experience is required,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience,•Current BLS certification required,•CNMT or NMTCB certification required,•Active Indiana state license required if applicable,•Ability to perform procedures and handle radioactive materials as specified,•Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited university,•Must be able to multitask and work effectively as a team player,•18 months of recent experience in the required specialty,Additional Information•Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays,•RTO policy allows up to 5 pre-approved days off; requests beyond this require facility approval,•First-time travelers are accepted,•Local candidates are accepted for allied positions,•Perm or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler,•Free parking available,•Isolation precautions are followed as needed,•Scrub/dress code not specified,],•hash,:•6390656201182813589,
