Warehouse Coordinator
Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Unload trucks and verify incoming freight against supplier packing lists. Inspect materials for damage and conduct quality control (QC) checks as required. Identify materials and ensure proper labeling for tracking and inventory control. Put materials away in designated areas and/or racks to maintain organization. Pick and deliver materials to manufacturing and shipping departments. Pull materials for customer orders and ensure accuracy. Maintain warehouse security by controlling access and monitoring inventory movement. Organize and maintain storage areas for efficiency and safety. Bale foam scrap and cardboard for disposal or recycling. Keep accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks. Utilize ERP systems for inventory management; experience with Shop-Trak and Syteline is a plus. Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands as needed. Meet performance metrics and goals related to accuracy, efficiency, and productivity. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed (certification preferred). Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected. Other Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics. Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Shop-Trak and Syteline preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory. Capable of safely lifting and handling up to 50 pounds when required. Forklift certification (preferred but not required). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
