Under general supervision, you, as Inventory Control Clerk on the 2nd shift, are responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate handling of materials, and the related transactions in GenMarks ERP system, in support of production, quality, R&D, and administrative functions. The Opportunity

Working shift: M-F, 2:00pm - 10:30pm On-site work at 6221 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009 Staging materials for production work orders, including pulling, staging, and transporting materials between departments, and transacting issued and returned materials in the computer system. Transporting and storing quarantined & released materials throughout the warehouse or other designated locations, including loading and unloading of company vehicles. Putting away released raw materials and manufactured products in proper locations and temperatures, and ensuring immediate segregation of non-conforming materials into a quarantine location. Properly handle and store hazardous materials, following federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous and infectious substances. Assisting with the daily cycle count program by verifying counts and reconciling discrepancies under the guidance of the Warehouse Lead. Accurately perform transactions using a computerized inventory system. Reviewing Kanban levels in all buildings, replenishing as needed, and notifying appropriate parties when unable to replenish.

Who You Are

You have a High School Diploma. You bring two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment. Experience with warehousing procedures utilizing material handling equipment and/or FDA-regulated environments is highly preferred. You are capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. You have a current, valid California drivers license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.

Behaviors, competencies, and qualities of the ideal applicant: Solid understanding of computerized inventory control systems (ERP). Proficiency with word processors and spreadsheets. Strong math, problem-solving skills, communication, and time management. Familiarity with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts. Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet racks, hand trucks, and motorized lifts.

Relocation is not offered for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position in Carlsbad is $37,632 - $50,200 USD annually. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available. This position qualifies for benefits detailed at the link below.
