Our work depends on Database Architect joining our team to support our intelligence customer. Responsibilities: Designs, installs, monitors, maintains, and performance tunes production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures Develops, implements, and oversees database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Applies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databases Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation Defines database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Qualifications: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience Active Top Secret clearance required Location: Customer Site US Citizenship Required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays Work Requirements
