Long-term contract Job Responsibilities
Provide design recommendations aligned with long-term IT strategy and update enterprise architecture to support business goals. Develop enterprise-level applications and integrations, including major enhancements and interfaces. Utilize various platforms to deliver automated system applications. Offer expertise in application integration across the business. Design, develop, and plan complex, business-critical software solutions using appropriate engineering processes. Establish programming standards, procedures, and architectures for code reuse. Maintain in-depth knowledge of programming languages and object-oriented design. Apply current application development methodologies consistently. Research emerging technologies and their business applications. Implement standards and guidelines for technology solutions, including multi-platform integration. Serve as a technical expert across multiple disciplines. Review and advise on software and hardware configurations, risks, costs, and impacts on business processes. Develop and document frameworks for integrating and implementing standards. Minimum Requirements
7-10+ years of experience in various IT areas and 2-3 years in relevant architecture roles within tolling, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or transit architecture. Advanced to expert knowledge of architecture, application systems design, and integration. Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, cursors, triggers, and collections. Experience with Azure Cloud. Education & Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Additional skills include database concepts, SQL performance tuning, database administration, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Additional Information
