Check us out here: www.matec.com.Responsibilities of a Matec Mechanical Tech.Assemble fabricated and purchased parts using assembly drawings and parts lists provided by engineering.Implement mechanical alterations and additions during the debugging phase to ensure optimal functionality.Work closely with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure machines operate properly and meet design specifications. Perform various non-repetitive mechanical assembly functions using hand or power tools, ensuring precision and quality.Assemble machines and sub-assemblies according to design requirements and customer specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standardsUtilize test equipment to perform functional testing, record appropriate documentation, and maintain accurate test data.Qualifications: Ability to travel without restriction up to 30%, including some international travelMachine build/assembly experience or verifiable experience refurbishing, building/rebuilding electro-mechanical equipment, i.e., motorcycles, engines, cars, trucks, farming equipment, etc.Strong maintenance and mechanical background with versatility in and around a manufacturing environment.
