Assembly Technician

Join our team to work in a clean and controlled environment, assembling small drones (3 feet or smaller) for military and defense applications. This role requires standing throughout the day and using small hand tools to make and assemble parts and sub-assemblies. You will conduct quality checks on parts to ensure they are made properly, following checklists and procedures. Quality is crucial, and strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential. Responsibilities

Assemble small drones for military and defense applications using small hand tools. Stand throughout the workday while assembling parts and sub-assemblies. Perform quality checks on parts to verify proper assembly. Follow checklists and procedures to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Essential Skills

Experience with medical assembly and medical devices. Proficiency in using hand tools and conducting quality control. Familiarity with UAV, UAS, drones, and related technologies. Experience with box builds, RC, and military MOS codes. Knowledge of TS16949, ISO 9001, and AS 9100 quality certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Experience working with small parts, assemblies, and tight tolerances. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with avionics, optical payloads, weapons systems, and electrical systems. Familiarity with tools such as calipers and micrometers. Understanding of FOD and FAA RS regulations. Experience in APU maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic assembly. Military experience and in RC hobby or medical device assembly. Why Work Here?

Work in a climate-controlled, relaxed, and clean environment with individual work benches. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime is expected. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
