Accountant
Job Type: Direct Hire, Exempt Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 annually Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Annual profit sharing, tuition assistance, company funded HSA contributions, company-paid short & long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance Job Description: Lead monthly financial close for assigned manufacturing plants, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Record and review inventory transactions, analyze variances, and collaborate with plant teams to identify trends Process weekly payroll using Paychex for designated plant locations Manage accounts payable, including invoice receipt, three-way match, approval routing, and payment processing Enter approved invoices into the ERP system (IQMS) and conduct weekly check runs Support year-end close and assist with external audits Contribute to general accounting tasks such as cash application, customer pricing updates, and account reconciliations Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and team on ad hoc projects and initiatives Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 04+ years of accounting experience Experience with ERP systems and general ledger management preferred Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, ADP) a plus Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and report formatting Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Manufacturing and cost accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities Team-oriented and thrives in a small office environment
