Description The Enrollment Coach is responsible for assisting traditional and non-traditional students with successfully navigating Rowan College of South Jersey's enrollment process. This individual will assist applicants with the enrollment steps leading up to registration to include admission, testing, and financial aid, in preparation for the applicant to meet with an Advisor. Additionally, the Coach connects the applicant with student support services and helps to identify potential enrollment barriers in collaboration with the Enrollment Coach Administrator.
Travel will be required, as this position will work on both the Gloucester and Cumberland Campuses.
Examples of Duties
Ensures traditional and non-traditional applicants are prepared to enroll at RCSJ and connects applicants with services associated with the enrollment process and student success. Provides guidance to a variety of applicants seeking admission and enrollment support. Provides quality customer service to traditional and non-traditional applicants through a variety of communication methods which include but not limited to phone calls, emails, and text messages. Utilizes various online solutions such as, customer relations management (CRM) software, to effectively support the needs of traditional and non-traditional student enrollment. Establishes and maintains a calendar of virtual and in-person appointments as needed, with the goal of assisting applicants to progress through the enrollment process. Guides students on navigating the RCSJ student portal. Works collaboratively with various areas within Student Services, and other College departments, to provide accurate information to applicants to address any barriers to entry. Effectively communicates admissions, testing and financial aid requirements and ensures items are satisfied leading up to advisement. Assists students with the submission of documents that support college enrollment. Responds to requests and refers students to institutional resources available to incoming students. Supports recruitment and outreach strategies to traditional and nontraditional student populations in-person and virtually. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish language preferred. High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred Three years' experience in a related professional office or customer service environment required. Prior experience in higher ed or educational setting preferred. Experience with Ellucian Banner, Anthology, or similar ERP system preferred. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access Ability to travel to multiple educational institutions, utilizing personal vehicle for Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours, including nights and weekends, to meet department and College needs Possess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, and colleagues and community partners Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff and a commitment to a student-centered environment If certain conditions exist, this position requires you to have access to personal technological equipment and capabilities to perform your duties.

RCSJ offers tuition reimbursement for up to 12 credits per fiscal year. The College also offer a tuition waiver for RCSJ courses for employees and eligible dependents.
