As an Echo Tech, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiac health for adult patients utilizing state-of-the-art echocardiographic technology. Key Responsibilities: - Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality echocardiographic images for assessing cardiac function, chamber measurements, and blood flow.- Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including adult echocardiograms, stress echoes, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and facilitate patient care.- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing education on the echocardiogram process.- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, ready to assist in urgent cases. Qualifications: - Current certifications required: BLS, RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) - Adult, RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an echocardiography role.- Expertise in Adult Acute Care, outpatient services, ER, and ICU.- Proficiency in performing echocardiographic procedures such as 2-D and 3-D echo, pharmacologic stress echo, and color Doppler imaging.- Familiarity with various echocardiography equipment and software (GE, Philips, Siemens, etc.).
