Secret Logistics Position
You will have knowledge in the application of Integrated Logistics Support management principles and methodologies as they apply to Navy Special Programs support. You will have knowledge of sensitive parts, assemblies, and end items, including material handling, warehousing and storage, packaging, transportation, and inventory management. You will have knowledge and familiarity with security manuals/instructions pertaining to physical security and operational security due to the criticality of the programs managed and associated mission sets. You will have knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) and Navy supply systems and their applications to assigned commodities and programs. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector serving as the senior technical advisor to various SYSCOMs along with other Government agencies responsible for storage requirements, development, and support of assigned programs. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitors the scheduling, coordination, preparations, utilization, and disposition of all logistics actions, materials, and documentation essential to providing a 100% depth of allowance material for supporting all Navy activities involved in assigned programs. Coordinates and resolves life cycle procurement specification matters with the assigned support commands. Provides analyses and reports to higher levels on the status of the assigned functional area across various teams. Directs and coordinates resolution of logistics problems reported by fleet and shore activities concerned with programs. This job does not have an education qualification requirement. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
