Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill an Administrative Assistant position in our corporate office in San Diego, CA. The Administrative Assistant will support Navy engineering contracts. Responsibilities include: Providing administrative support to the Management Team. Creating, maintaining and updating various Excel spreadsheets to track expenses and labor hours. General data entry support. Answering and directing phone calls. Organizing and scheduling appointments. Planning meetings and taking detailed minutes. Writing and distributing email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms. Assisting in the preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports. Developing and maintaining a filing system. Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures. Ordering office supplies and researching new vendors and suppliers. Maintaining contact lists. Assisting with coordination of travel arrangements. Submitting and reconciling expense reports. Providing general support to visitors. Supporting team building events. Assisting with new hire candidates. Acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients. Pay rate: $37.50 hourly Required qualifications and experience: Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain, at minimum a SECRET security clearance. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required. Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen. Intermediate to advanced computer skills/knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Basic understanding of Office 365, SharePoint. General knowledge of DoD Contracts. Excellent communication skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem solving skills. Good team player with teamwork spirit when dealing with issues. Professional and friendly attitude to internal and external customers. Detail-oriented. Proactive. Dependable. Adapts to change easily. Good command of communication & coordinating skills. Self-starter.
