Electrical Assembler

The Assembler will demonstrate a proficiency of skills to perform consistently above average quality of work in a timely fashion. This role involves reading blueprints and schematics, soldering under a microscope, and providing feedback to Manufacturing and Engineering. Responsibilities also include performing manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies and troubleshooting electro-mechanical production equipment. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Perform soldering under a microscope, adhering to J standard solder requirements. Engage in tubing, grinding, and electrical troubleshooting tasks. Provide feedback to Manufacturing and Engineering to improve manufacturability. Conduct manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies of moderate to difficult complexity. Work under limited supervision using drawings, visual aids, and verbal and written instructions to manufacture subassemblies or final assemblies. Troubleshoot electro-mechanical production equipment. Collaborate with personnel outside the immediate department, such as Engineering, QA, and Materials. Essential Skills

Proficiency in soldering and using a microscope. Knowledge of J standard solder. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience in electrical assembly and troubleshooting. Ability to work independently with strong oral and written communication skills. Visual alertness and manual dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of power tools and hand tools. Ability to complete basic wiring. Experience in a contract manufacturing environment. IPC training preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Why Work Here?

Located in Elkridge, this fast-paced contract manufacturing environment involves working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm. The facility offers electro-mechanical manufacturing capabilities, including assembling conveyors, military/defense box builds, UL508a control panels, and cable/wire harnesses. Employees must be adaptable to move between different projects regularly. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
