At Kelly Professional & Industrial, we're seeking Assemblers / Finishing Associates to work for a premier optics manufacturer in West Henrietta, NY. Pay: $18-25/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Temp to hire. Available shifts: + A Shift: 5am to 1:30pm or 9am to 5:30pm, Mon-Fri. + Training schedule: 7am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri (for the first 4-6 weeks). + B Shift: 1pm to 9:30pm, Mon-Fri. Summary: As a Finishing Associate, you'll help manufacture precision optical components used in medical and scientific equipment. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, quality control, or machine operation. Tasks and responsibilities: + Perform glass shaping processes: drilling, dicing, beveling, laser marking, cleaning, etc. + Operate hand tools, semi-automatic, or automatic equipment. + Conduct physical and visual inspections using measuring tools. + Identify and escalate quality issues. + Maintain a clean, organized work area. + Follow all safety, quality, and work procedures. This job might be an outstanding fit if you + Have a high school diploma or GED (required). + 2+ years of related experience (preferred). + Are comfortable with repetitive tasks/hands-on work, standing or sitting for long periods. + Possess strong visual acuity and color recognition.
