CNC Machinist - Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate CNC Mills and Lathes, assist with machine setups, and ensure production parts are on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G&M codes, Fanuc controls, and be capable of performing quality inspections using manual measuring equipment. Responsibilities
Operate CNC Mills and Lathes, including vertical and horizontal machines (Mori Seiki, Okuma, Okuma Howa, Doosan). Assist with machine setups. Edit programs using G&M Codes and Fanuc controls to ensure machines are running correctly. Run production parts and maintain schedule adherence. Track production sheets (currently paper-based, transitioning to digital). Perform quality inspections using manual measuring equipment and complete quality sheets. Troubleshoot machine and program issues. Assist other machinists while parts are running. Utilize overhead cranes to lift larger parts in and out of machines. Essential Skills
3+ years of CNC Machining experience (Mill or Lathe). Strong understanding of G&M codes to adjust feeds and speeds. Experience in changing inserts and tooling. Proficiency in quality inspection using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. Blueprint reading skills. Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance on machines, such as checking oil levels and lubricants. Documenting job sheets and quality inspections. Why Work Here?
