In 2021, Diversified announced expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, including producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

DGOC is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Planning Director to shape the company’s financial future. This key leadership role is responsible for managing the corporate financial model, driving long-range planning, and leading financial analysis to support strategic decisions across the business. Reporting to the SVP of Finance & Strategic Planning, the Strategic Planning Director will collaborate with Executive Leadership, Business Development, Treasury, Operations, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and a collaborative approach. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development and management of DEC’s Long-Range Plan, coordinating inputs from various stakeholders. Maintain and update the corporate financial model, including scenario and sensitivity analyses for evaluating investments, M&A, and financing options. Partner with the FP&A team during the annual budget process to ensure alignment with long-term forecasts. Support capital allocation decisions by working with operations and engineering teams to evaluate investment opportunities. Assist the Treasury team with underwriting for Asset-Backed Securitizations (ABS) and other financing initiatives. Provide financial diligence and valuation support for acquisitions alongside Business Development. Contribute to strategic presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Lead or assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, investment banking, or similar roles. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Hyperion Essbase and Power BI is advantageous. Good business judgment with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts. Experience in the oil & gas industry or capital-intensive sectors is preferred.
