Readiness Analyst - Senior Technical Training Specialist

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
:
The Readiness Analyst shall maintain cognizance of and provide expertise in key technical readiness and resource issues regarding the policies and programs assigned to the CNAP Readiness Directorate. The Contractor will perform technical analyses, readiness assessments, metrics development, research, special studies, monitoring of unit readiness, online training development, and life cycle maintenance, as required to meet CNAP objectives. KEY DAILY ACTIVITIES
:
• Manage weekly Readiness Hit List compilation and distribution to track delinquent reporting across squadrons. • Compile and analyze bi-weekly DRRS comments from deployed and deploying units. • Execute SHARP and DRRS/SORTS policy updates and system changes. • Deliver 2-3 monthly in-person fleet training sessions for Readiness positions. • Support Air Boss and CNO-led initiatives, in alignment fifth Global Force Management and the Master Aviation Plan. • Provide quarterly training to Department Head and Officer-in-Charge courses and specialized squadron training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: • Five years of experience in training management or training development.
• Five years of experience developing training programs or policies to support Naval Aviation, and experience developing multi-media-based and classroom training tools to support aircraft carrier, squadron, wing, and executive level understanding of Naval Aviation readiness assessment, reporting, policies, and software programs.
• Eligible for DoD Secret security clearance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
: • Experience includes training in the development and life cycle support of DRRS-S, CNAL/CNAP Training and Readiness (T&R) policy, and the Navy Mission Essential Task List development process.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field and/or a master’s degree from an accredited institution in a business or related field is preferred. • Helicopter Background: HSC, or HSM experience is highly valued. • Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, data mining, graph creation, and complex formulas. • Squadron Operations: Assistant Operations Officer/Petty Officer, Operations Officer/Petty Officer, or aircrew with Operations experience.
