Senior Manager, Product Analytics

Maven is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Analytics to lead our Product Analytics function. This role will set the strategic vision for how data informs product development, empower the team to generate insights that directly shape our member and provider experience, and oversee high-impact analytics initiatives. In this role you will serve as a key thought partner to our Product, Engineering, Operations, and Clinical teams to drive the development and adoption of experimentation, scalable analytics infrastructure, and data-informed decision-making throughout the organization. As a Senior Manager, Product Analytics at Maven, you will: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Analytics team, fostering growth and collaboration. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations teams to design and execute an analytics roadmap to drive strategic decision-making. Influence product and business decisions by proactively surfacing data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes and better serve our members. Define and drive the analytics vision for experimentation, product performance tracking, and user behavior analysis. Establish and promote development best practices, coding standards, and design principles across the team. Drive operational efficiency by overseeing the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure, and identifying areas for improvement. Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data analytics processes. We’re looking for you to bring: 10+ years of relevant product analytics or data science experience, including a minimum of 3 years of management experience leading technical teams. Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization. Hands-on experience with Python or R is preferred. A proven ability to manage both long-term strategic initiatives and ad hoc, high-priority requests as needed. Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and developing junior team members. Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities.
