We are seeking a software developer to work on innovative technologies used throughout Apple. This is a remarkable opportunity for a candidate eager to learn, influence, and contribute to the development and design of security technologies, applications, and processes that protect Apple products and services. As part of the software team, you will have the opportunity to: Partner with teams across Apple to prioritize and build the product roadmap Advocate for your solutions and secure buy-in Develop beautiful and functional frontends Research, drive, and develop innovative solutions Leverage AI and ML technologies to enhance security solutions Build strong relationships to effectively communicate secure solution designs and benefits to developers
Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed or cloud-based business systems Experience designing frontends using Tailwind CSS Excellent collaboration and communication skills focused on user experience Experience leading complex projects with cross-functional technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable distributed or cloud-based business systems 4+ years of experience designing frontends using Tailwind CSS Experience with modern object-oriented languages such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java (7+ years) Experience with web frameworks like Rails, Django, Spring, ReactJS (7+ years) Mentoring experience for software engineers Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices Experience writing automated tests and using continuous integration systems Comfort with macOS, Linux, or other Unix-based operating systems
At Apple, compensation includes base pay within a range, opportunities for growth, and additional benefits such as stock programs, medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, educational reimbursement, bonuses, and relocation assistance. The salary range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
