PSA Airlines is immediately seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join our Dayton, OH team!
The Maintenance Controller plays a vital role in supporting PSA Airlines' business growth by coordinating maintenance activities. Your responsibilities include managing maintenance discrepancies and corrections across all operational aircraft to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Determine daily schedules, maintenance/inspections, unscheduled maintenance needs, items awaiting maintenance, and available workforce at each shift start.
- Coordinate maintenance discrepancies and corrections for all operational aircraft, minimizing maintenance recovery time.
- Enter flight delay and cancellation data into the M&E system to enhance operational reliability.
- Review flight termination messages to analyze and determine corrective actions, initiating necessary steps promptly.
- Coordinate parts, manpower, and travel arrangements for field repairs; monitor field repairs and coordinate the return of work crews and parts.
- Ensure compliance with outstation maintenance documentation requirements for PSA aircraft.
- Coordinate with the Stores Department regarding AOG parts in progress for aircraft repairs.
- Monitor aircraft availability and coordinate equipment changes between Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, and Flight Control.
- Maintain and review the MEL List; expedite parts as needed.
- Coordinate MEL and CDL procedures with Dispatch and Maintenance Planning.
- Report incidents from Flight Control for Service Difficulty Reports.
- Maintain and monitor the Master Ferry Flight List, issuing necessary numbers and permits.
- Oversee the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and related safety processes.
- In the absence of the Maintenance Control Duty Manager, assume their responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Control Duty Manager or designee.

PSA Aircraft Maintenance Controller Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Airframe and Powerplant Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of line maintenance experience with CRJ 700/900 or similar aircraft, or in Part 121, 129, or 135 operations
- Good standing with the company (STEP 1 violations considered)
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Authorization to work in the US
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal history check (CHRC)
