Qualifications

  1. 0-1 year experience in commercial kitchens preferred
  2. Knowledge of kitchen operations preferred
  3. Willingness to cross-train across various stations
  4. Ability to train and mentor new team members
  5. Coachable and eager to learn
  6. Self-motivated and disciplined
  7. Capacity to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
  8. Physical stamina for shifts of at least 8 hours

Compensation

  • $15-$16/hr along with benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401K
  • 50% off meals during shifts and 20% off meals off duty
  • 5 vacation days after one year of employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week

Role Responsibilities

  1. Prepare food items per specifications, manage assigned stations, and ensure proper food storage using FIFO methods.
  2. Carry out daily tasks including prep lists, restocking, health inspection checks, safety protocols, line checks, food quality assessments, sanitation, and catering support.
  3. Assist in training new kitchen staff and mentoring teammates.
  4. Communicate any facility maintenance needs.
  5. Foster positive relationships with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams.
  6. Engage in ongoing training opportunities and participate in scheduled restaurant events.
