About the Role:

EvoLogic is currently seeking a Controls Engineer with hands-on experience in designing electrical control panels and developing control systems from concept to completion. This role involves working

closely with customers, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical control systems and panel layouts in accordance with customerrequirements and applicable codes/standards (e.g., UL508A, NEC).

Select and specify appropriate control components (PLCs, HMIs, relays, sensors, drives, etc.).
n
n
Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed electrical schematics using AutoCAD LTsoftware.
n
n
Collaborate with customers and internal teams from project kickoff through commissioning.
n
n
Support procurement and manufacturing with technical documentation and guidance.
n
n
Troubleshoot control systems during panel testing, installation, and startup.
n
n
Provide occasional on-site support for commissioning and troubleshooting.
n
n
Maintain up-to-date project documentation and change management throughout the projectlifecycle.
n

Qualifications:

n
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (or equivalentexperience).
n
n
3+ years of experience in controls engineering or industrial automation.
n
n
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and control panel standards.
n
n
Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
n
n
Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Emerson,Schneider, etc.) is a plus.
n
n
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
n
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
n

Preferred Skills:

n
UL508A panel design experience.
n
n
Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
n
n
Experience working with VFDs, motor controls, and safety systems.
n
n
Comfortable interacting with customers and vendors in both technical and project coordination roles.
n
