Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (ONSITE)
Employment Type: Full-Time, 3-month contract with possible extension
Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (ONSITE)
Shift: Mon-Fri; 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Specialist manages all aspects of the accounts payable process with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality. Responsibilities include processing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and supporting accounting functions, while providing support to leadership, branches, and departments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do:
- Process and review vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage high-volume invoice processing, including researching exceptions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payments via check, ACH, wire; handle corporate cards and reimbursements.
- Prepare audit documentation and ensure compliance.
- Support team training and cross-functional coverage.
What Were Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in shared services.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Strong MS Office/O365 skills and 10-key proficiency.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and deadline management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
