Job Title: Registered Nurse - Tele Med/Surg
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Shift: 19:30 - 07:30
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Tele Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare across all age groups. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Tele Med/Surg unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EHR.
- Educate patients and their families about disease management and health maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in New Mexico or the ability to obtain prior to start.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Med/Surg or Tele unit.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH.
- Ability to float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 199
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Supervisory Team: Director of Tele/Med/Surgical Units
Schedule:
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed
- Call requirements: As needed

- Scrub color: Any, with no casual wear permitted.
