A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Flint, MI, for the upcoming school year (NSY). This role is ideal for professionals committed to fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of students across diverse age groups within a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Provide counseling and intervention services to address students social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and legal requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid School Psychologist certification/license in the state of Michigan
Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with current psychoeducational testing tools and intervention strategies
