is hiring a
Data Engineer
to support the
Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI)
across key national security sites in the National Capital Region. This is a hands-on opportunity to lead the migration, testing, and modernization of critical intelligence systems as part of a collaborative, high-impact mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support efforts in
data migration
, integration, and transformation from legacy environments to enterprise systems
Validate requirements, evaluate transition plans, and conduct end-to-end system testing
Ensure legacy data conforms to accuracy, formatting, and classification standards in new dissemination tools
Build and support advanced workflows to facilitate future product delivery
Customize front-end site experiences to align with official branding and user needs
Provide data analytics support and troubleshoot system connectivity issues across departments
Develop comprehensive documentation and user guides for senior leadership and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
Clearance:
Active DoD TS/SCI
Certification:
IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of an offer acceptance.
Education:
Bachelor's with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience, trainings, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
4+ years with data archiving, migration, and SharePoint admin/development
Validating and evaluating disparate intelligence requirements
Collaborating with developers and translating technical info for non-technical users
Skills Snapshot:
Proficient in JSON, HTML, and modern web frameworks
Practical testing/documentation experience for enterprise systems
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
