POSITION – Quality Inspector
JOB LOCATION – Pewaukee, WI
STARTING DATE –
Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp to Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE –
Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st shift, 5am to 3pm
STARTING PAY –
Depends on Experience, $22 to 25
REQUIRED EDUCATION –
High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 3
plus years of experience
Responsibilities
Conducted inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Utilized measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and tape measures to verify part dimensions
Read and interpreted blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Documented inspection results and maintained accurate records in quality logs and reports
Identified non-conforming materials or products and initiated corrective actions or rework procedures
Ability to learn and apply the following technical skills is needed to successfully complete the requirements of this position:
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or technical degree
1 to 3 plus years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection procedures
Proficient in using measuring instruments as in calipers, micrometers, height gauges, tape measures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards
