We're seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. We are seeking a TIG Welder to complete our welding department. This is a full time position, working in a clean and collaborative manufacturing environment.Responsibilities: Weld metal parts together using blueprints, layouts and sketches provided by Engineering departmentWill layout metal, set-up, and tack in accordance with welding blueprints, etc before weldingAbility to fit pipe and weld flangesUse fixtures, jigs, clamps, and other positioning devices commonly used in weldingUse various power and hand tools as required to complete production welding tasksPerform user maintenance on all machines and equipment Maintains a neat, clean, orderly, and functional work area at all timesChecks work area for compliance of all safety rules and standards. Reports any unsafe or uncompliant issues to Team Lead or Operations Manager in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent. Welding certification/experience desirableAbility to perform Tig welding tasks Heli-Arc weld experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints, technical layouts/sketchesAbility to follow verbal or written instructionsKnowledge and experience using both manual and power hand toolsAbility to use manual arc, wire and mig welders.
