Our client, a rubber manufacturing company, is seeking a Mechanic 3 to join their team. As a Mechanic 3, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

$28 - $35/hr

What's the Job?

Independently modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot injection press and auxiliary equipment

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using PLC ladder logic and mechanical principles

Conduct preventive maintenance activities and maintain plant equipment such as compressors, chillers, and fire systems

Train others on equipment setup, changeover, and maintenance procedures

Respond to equipment issues promptly and maintain documentation for shift handovers

What's Needed?

Trade school certification or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance

PLC experience (AB PLC-5 or Siemens)

Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and lockout/tagout procedures

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical sketches
