InfoSec Technical Project Manager Delivery

The InfoSec Technical Project Manager drives new capabilities and strategic change for Information Security. This role requires demonstrated experience and success in managing cross-functional teams running large, complex technology initiatives and programs within the banking or financial services industry. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with change management, technology, operations, client impact, business partners, and Information Security subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver programs that enhance security capabilities and deliver business value. Responsibilities
End-to-end management of multiple programs within defined schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Manage resources and lead teams to complete large, complex InfoSec programs/projects. Develop project timelines, detailed plans, and track progress and status. Coordinate deliverables and confirm interdependencies across InfoSec teams and stakeholders. Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks per the project plan. Provide status updates and escalate risks, impediments, and issues to key stakeholders and leadership. Track interdependencies and ensure early engagement of impacted teams such as Architecture, Risk, Engineering, and business partners. Support the development and approval of project business cases. Manage project lifecycle phases (Waterfall or Agile), including initiation, development, implementation, and closure. Lead and facilitate delivery processes for major project deliverables, including Epics, features, requirements, design, QA, UAT, and product management. Coordinate and lead team resources across multiple time zones and geographic locations. Prepare and present project updates and status reports to program and executive teams. Oversee change control processes, financial approvals, issue/risk management, and contingency planning. Contribute beyond traditional project management roles, supporting production management, development, testing, and business analysis. Required Qualifications
BA/BS in IT/Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or related field. 20+ years of professional experience in financial institutions, consulting firms, or software companies. 15+ years of project management experience leading complex projects valued at $1M or more. 5+ years of experience in Information Security within large financial institutions. Experience managing teams of project managers across multiple workstreams. Proven ability to lead multiple complex system projects in parallel. Knowledge of delivering Information Security programs/projects. Familiarity with InfoSec or Cybersecurity Operations such as Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, etc. Experience with InfoSec platforms like Crowdstrike, SIEMs, Splunk, CyberArk, SailPoint. Understanding of systems development methodologies and ability to manage cross-functional teams. Strong relationship management and communication skills. Proven ability to manage large programs effectively and deliver predictable results. High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and attention to detail. Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid). Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all organizational levels. Strong judgment, pragmatic problem-solving, and team-building skills. Preferred Qualifications
Information Security experience at a major financial institution. Ability to identify and resolve project schedule conflicts. Strong analytical skills and ability to structure problems independently.
