This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 90 days of paid training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary responsibilities include managing the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notification, working with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers, managing the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles, and handling resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems 1+ years of medical referral processing experience Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows based programs including Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and Teams Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime Must be 18 years of age OR older Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services Call center experience Experience working in a metric-driven work environment Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes Telecommuting Requirements include the ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure, required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy, and must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
