Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in Orange Park, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Duties include preparing patients for procedures, positioning them correctly, and adjusting equipment to obtain the best images. The Radiology Technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the safety of patients during procedures. Responsibilities: Operate CARM to produce diagnostic images Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to obtain the best images Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient safety during procedures Assist OR staff with room turnover and facilitate a positive patient experience. Perform other duties as assigned by OR Manager of Administrator. Make patient calls and assist with scheduling and patient preparation for surgery days. Pick cases and prepare Operating Rooms for surgery days. Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs. Requirements: Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field Valid ARRT certification State licensure as a Radiology Technician Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
