On-Site Occupational Health Paramedic

As an on-site Occupational Health Paramedic, you'll be a key part of a safety-focused medical team, providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance on a nationally recognized construction project. You'll work closely with safety professionals and project leadership to keep workers healthy, safe, and productive. What You'll Do: A Day in the Life: Triage and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries Provide follow-up care based on Evidence-Based Medical protocols Understand and support workers' compensation and risk management processes Document care using our EMR system (Cority) Maintain a clean, fully stocked clinic Communicate with MMC leadership and local providers Work with the site safety team daily Lead "Stretch and Flex" sessions and conduct site walks Help identify workplace health risks Promote employee wellness initiatives Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation Perform substance abuse and occupational health testing Attend weekly team meetings to review cases and site updates Deliver excellent service to employees and site leadership Build trust and foster a positive work environment Physical Requirements: This role requires extensive physical strength, dexterity, and endurance to perform in fast-paced, high-stress environmentsoften under hazardous conditions. Frequency Key: Occasionally = 133% of time Frequently = 3466% of time Continuously = 67100% of time Standing/Walking: Frequently to continuously, including on various surfaces (cement, gravel, stairs, etc.), indoors and outdoors, sometimes in adverse weather. Must be able to run when necessary. Sitting: Variable, dependent on situation and location. Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts 50 lbs; occasionally lifts/carries 100+ lbs (patients, equipment). Bending/Stooping: Frequently at 3565 angles; may last 30+ minutes. Crouching/Kneeling: Frequently up to 15 times per call, potentially prolonged. Climbing: Occasionally required (stairs, vehicle entry/exit), often while carrying equipment or assisting patients. Reaching: Frequently to continuouslyincludes extending arms in awkward or confined spaces. Pushing/Pulling: Frequentlye.g., gurney operation, doors, CPR, or loading/unloading equipment. Handling/Grasping: Continuouslyrequires a wide range of arm, wrist, and finger motions (grips, lifts, manipulations). Hazards: Possible exposure to fumes, chemicals, bodily fluids, fire, extreme weather, violent patients, or bystanders. Strict adherence to safety and infection control policies is mandatory. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Current State Paramedic License required Current ACLS certification required OSHA-30 Certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred Skills & Abilities: Valid Driver's License in good standing Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and adaptability Ability to read, interpret, and complete medical and administrative documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal databases Skilled in using standard office and medical equipment Ability to handle the physical responsibilities of the job as listed above Benefits: Competitive Pay: $27$30/hr Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Schedule: Currently operating on a 24/7 worksite schedule Shifts are 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am Monday thru Sunday Relocation/Commute: Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work in Montgomery, AL 36015.
