The position includes evening and weekend call responsibilities. Candidates with Cath Lab tech experience are encouraged to apply. Call is required three out of every eight weekends and approximately one to two nights per week. Job duties include scrubbing, annotating, and sending images to PACS, as well as circulating. Procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include lower and upper extremity angiograms, atherectomy, dialysis fistulagram/declot, nephrostomy tubes, biliary tubes, and embolization ports. There are two Interventional Radiology rooms available, and two Interventional Radiologists are assigned per day. The department always has two technicians on call, along with one nurse and a Radiologist. This is an acute care hospital setting with 479 staffed beds.
