Job Description*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Mammography Technologist to join its Penfield Imaging team. Candidates for this role would work a 36 hour, Full Time schedule. ** This position is eligible for a $5000 sign on bonus**Some duties include but are not limited to:Positions and exposes the breast with the prescribed doses of radiation under the supervision of the Radiologist. Ensures patient information entered into MagView & Radiant MAM module is accurate and complete.Performs under limited supervision, always following established procedures and accepted professional standards. Establishes and maintains good interpersonal communication with patients and department staff. Maintains patient confidentiality while employed at Highland Hospital and after termination of employment. Works with a diverse patient population. Understands and is fully aware and supports the rights of all Highland Hospital patients.Performs technical procedures independently related to positioning and exposing the breast with the prescribed doses of radiation under the supervision of the Radiologist, requesting assistance when appropriate. Ensures patient information entered into MagView & Radiant MAM module is accurate and complete. Salary Range:$31.12-$40.45 an hourThe referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Job RequirementsFulfilled the educational requirements to have a NYS license in good standing with the ARRT** Must be willing to float to other mammography offices and help cover the evening shifts until 7:00 pm
